VINTAGE 1971 TUDOR GENTLEMEN’S 9KT GOLD ROLEX CASE WATCH

Vintage 1971 Tudor gentlemen’s 9kt gold Rolex case watch, absolutely beautiful, with Tudor shop display stand.

The Tudor watches, which have always been the budget range by Rolex, have seen an immense surge of popularity over the last ten years or so and this lovely early 1970’s model is a prime example.

Manufactured in 1971 by the London hallmarks stamped inside the case back, this model has everything that you would want in a vintage Tudor.

Measuring 32mm across the bezel, not including the crown and 39mm tip-to-tip. The 9kt gold case with down-swept strap lugs is in superb condition, with no noticeable faults what-so-ever. The snap-on case back is stamped by the manufacturer ‘Rolex’ inside along with London 9kt gold hallmarks for 1971.

The starburst silvered dial is original and in exceptional condition. Simply signed ‘Tudor’ with ‘shock-resisting’ below and ’Swiss’ below six.

This model features the new Tudor shield logo symbol applied at 12, signifying a new, more modern look for the Tudor range.

The polished baton numerals and matching dauphine hands compliment the dial perfectly.

The 17 jewel movement is in absolutely beautiful original condition, superbly finished and working perfectly as you would expect from Rolex. the watch is in superb original condition, complete with a rare original Tudor shop window display stand. This is a wonderful 1970’s Tudor in fine condition and a model ever increasing in value.
