VINTAGE 1960’s ‘LATOR’ CHRONOGRAPH WITH CALENDAR BEAUTIFUL COMPLETELY ORIGINAL WATCH
Vintage 1960’s ‘Lator’ Chronograph with calendar beautiful completely original watch.
This superb vintage chronograph was manufactured in Switzerland sometime during the 1960’s.
A very unusual chronograph with date window at six. This is a large watch, measuring just over 36mm across the bezel (not including the crown) and 44.5mm tip to tip.
The fabulous original silvered dial has contrasting gold dagger divisions and date window. Two colour printing with inner 60 second scale and outer blue tachometer ring. And signed simply ‘Lator – 17 jewels – incabloc’ and with contrasting gold dagger hands.
The Landeron 189 calendar movement is in exceptional condition, clearly having had very little use and running perfectly.
The watch is in remarkable original condition and very close to ‘new old stock’, with no dings, scratches or wear to the gold plating. Fitted with a new quality crocodile-grain strap. This is a very pretty chronograph which looks great on the wrist and as always with vintage pieces, condition is everything.
