VINTAGE 1960’s DRYDEN LANDERON CALIBRE 151 HAND WOUND CHRONOGRAPH

Vintage 1960’s ‘Dryden’ Landeron calibre 151 hand-wound chronograph watch with stunning dial.

This very pretty vintage chronograph was manufactured in Switzerland sometime during the 1960’s, very nicely cased in a 20 micron gold plated case. The watch, measures 35mm across the bezel (not including the crown) and 43.5mm tip to tip.

The beautiful silvered dial is simply stunning, it is without doubt one of the best condition original dials that we have seen. Signed by the manufacturer ‘Dryden’ with three colour printed tachometer and telemeter scales, contrasting polished gold batons and applied Arabic 12 & 6 figures. The matching hands sword hands are original and in excellent condition also.

The movement is the Landeron calibre 151, hand-wound with 45 minute recorder. It is in excellent condition, winds and sets as it should and clearly never having been in the hands of amateurs.

The watch is in very, very nice original order, with some very minor scratches commensurate with it’s age. A nice quality vintage chronograph with an exceptionally beautiful dial, your first chronograph perhaps ? we have fitted this one with a new, quality alligator-grain strap.
