VINTAGE 1954 9KT GOLD OMEGA 34mm MODEL 752.039 IN EXCEPTIONAL NEW-OLD-STOCK CONDITION
This is a beautiful 9kt gold cased gentlemen’s Omega wrist-watch, manufactured in 1954 by the serial number 14339515 on the movement. Calibre 266, a legendary hand-wound movement from Omega and in absolutely ‘as-new’ condition, this is one of the finest condition 266 movements that we have ever come across.
Measuring 34mm across the bezel not including the crown and 41mm tip-to-tip. The case is in beautiful condition, with no dings, serious scratches or marks what-so-ever and just a little very fine scratching to the back from gentle use over the years.
Fully signed omega inside the back with English 9kt gold hallmarks. The back and side of the case are free from the usual gouges and scratches where they have been previously opened by amateurs.
The original silvered dial is remarkable and has the desirable Rolex explorer type ’3-6-9’ layout. Flawless in every respect, silvered with large subsidiary seconds circle and polished gold figures. Signed simply ‘Omega’ with swiss made at the base of the dial. The dauphine hands are in superb condition and have probably never been removed.
This is an exceptional Omega wrist-watch in the finest condition, solid gold ones do not come much better than this example.
