Vintage 1996 Chopard Mille Miglia split-second chronograph competitors edition no. 21 of 750.
This rare Chopard was one of two Mille Miglia chronographs that we purchased, previously owned by a very well know racer and car collector.
Manufactured by Chopard exclusively as gifts for the competitors in the 1996 race, each one individually numbered appertaining to their car entry number, this one being car number 21.
An exceptional piece quality wise, in an all stainless-steel case. This is a large watch, measuring 39mm across, not including the crown and 45.5mm tip-to-tip.
The two-tone silvered dial is absolutely stunning, with Mille Miglia logo and all important 1996 race symbol.
Split second chronograph movement with perpetual calendar. The watch is in fabulous original condition, there are no dings or visible scratches what-so-ever.
Complete with the original boxes, original strap with steel Chopard buckle and original owners manual etc. This is a very rare watch and it is the only one being offered for sale within the UK that we know of.
